The rapid enumeration plates of Escherichia coli and coliforms 3M Petrifilm identify both Escherichia coli and other coliforms. E. coli forms blue colonies while other coliforms form red colonies in less than 24 hours. The product is ISO 16140 certified and the certification does not provide for the need to confirm the nature of the colonies with other biochemical tests. They are available in 50 or 500 unit sizes.
