The BioSampler SKC is the ideal tool to monitor the airborne contamination in working environments (e.g. n-CoV-19, Legionella, FluA, Aspergilli) and barnes (e.g. ASFV, Avian Flu, Salmonella, Brucella). The BioSampler is a result of SKC's work with leading scientists at the University of Cincinnati for the effective collection of bioaerosols while ensuring the survival and biological activity of the collected microrganisms (viruses, bacteria, fungi, molds). The SKC BioSampler is a highly efficient glass collection device that requires a high-volume sonic flow pump like the Aircube (Cat# ACC6002) to trap airborne microorganisms for subsequent analysis. The SKC Biosampler overcomes all the sampling problems evidenced while using filters or other impingers and allows for long collection periods (up to 8-hours) at any temperature, providing samples immediately available for PCR or cultural analysis. The cut-off point at 12.5 l/min flow is 300 nm, hence the system is efficiently collecting also the so called breathable airborne particles.
