This kit allows for the detection in food and feed DNA extracts of the GMO marker cry1Ab/Ac. Using this real-time PCR kit its possible to detect just 3% of the events registered in the EU GMO database and its used for peculiar screening purposes. The kit was developed according to the experimental design of the EU reference laboratory (see https://gmo-crl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/gmomethods/).
