This Real-Time PCR kit detects the DNA of flax, soy, rapeseed and cotton thus it allows to check if the extraction process yielded any flax, soy, rapeseed and cotton detectable DNA. In summary it is a paramount process control to give a correct interpretation to negative results when testing for OGM. The kit can be used also to monitor the taxa cross-contamination and to quantify single taxon contribution in a complex DNA mix. The kit was developed according to the experimental design of the EU reference laboratory (see https://gmo-crl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/gmomethods/).
