Modified Wadowsky Yee (MWY) selective culture agar is used for the isolation and counting of Legionella spp. in water samples from various sources (water for human consumption, wastewater, thermal and mineral water etc.) and in environmental samples. Medium formula reflects indications of ISO 11731, while production and quality control are operated according to ISO 11133.
