Reference material working as process control in experiments for the detection of animal DNA or animal proteins. The production follows the indications of ISO 17034 and uses heat-treated (autoclaved) meat (subsequently dehydrated and pulverized) to create a spiked dispersion of contaminating meat at a defined w/w percentage. The homogeneity of the dispersion is guaranteed in a minimum sample of 200 mg. The product has the necessary specification to act as a process control in the execution of the official EURL-AP method for the detection of animal meal in feed.
