Medium used for the enrichment, isolation and presumptive identification of Yersinia enterocolitica in the analysis of food products according to ISO10273 (Food Microbiology - Horizontal method for the detection of presumptive pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitica). The presence of green malachite and Irgasan inhibits the growth of Gram-positive bacteria, and the presence of Ticarcillin (or Carbecillin) and potassium chloride inhibits the growth of some Gram-negative bacteria.
